At Locavise ("Locavise", "we", "us") we respect your privacy. This notice explains what personal data we process when you use locavise.co and our services, for what purposes and on what legal basis, with whom we share it, and the rights you have. It is intended to meet the transparency requirements of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Locavise acts as the data controller for the personal data processed through the service. For any privacy request or question, contact us at support@locavise.co.
We process your data for the following purposes, relying on the legal bases indicated (GDPR Art. 6 / KVKK Art. 5):
Connecting a YouTube channel is optional. When you choose to connect, Locavise uses the YouTube API Services. By using this feature you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and your use of Google services is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
To deliver the AI features, the content you submit (such as titles, descriptions, prompts, reference images, thumbnails and video metadata) is sent to AI processing providers — currently OpenAI and Google Gemini — which process it on our behalf to generate results. This processing is necessary to perform the service you request. We do not use your content to train our own competing AI models.
We share personal data only with the providers needed to run the service, and only to the extent necessary:
Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms and applicable data-processing agreements.
Some of our providers process data on servers located outside Türkiye and the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States). Where this happens, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards — such as the providers' data-processing agreements and standard contractual clauses — to protect your data.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and for any period required by law (e.g. accounting records). When you delete your account, your personal data is erased or anonymized within a reasonable period, except data we are legally required to retain.
We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk — including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access your data; to have it corrected or deleted; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email support@locavise.co. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK); in the EU/UK, your local supervisory authority.
If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify the competent authority and, where required by law, affected users without undue delay.
Locavise is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
